|Squid||2 , cleaned and coarsely chopped|
|Onions||2 , thinly sliced|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), crushed|
|Tomatoes||1 1⁄2 Pound, chopped (700 Gram)|
|Rubbed thyme||1 Tablespoon (Fresh)|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Dry white wine||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Black olives||10 , pitted|
Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan.
Add the squid and onions and fry, stirring, until the onions are golden.
Stir in the remaining ingredients, except the olives, and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the olives and cook 5 minutes more.
Transfer to a serving dish and serve.
