Boiled Summer Squash

Peel squash remove seeds and cut into, cubes.
Heat 1/2 cup water to boiling add 1 tsp. salt and squash (about 4 lbs.), cover pan tightly and bring to boil again.
Reduce heat and simmer lightly 15-20 minutes.orointil tender.
Drain season with pepper and serve with butter.
