1 Cup (16 tbs), cut into half (or butternut squash- peeled, cubed)
1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Red pepper spice blend
2 Tablespoon (MLV Brand)
Sesame seeds/Grated parmesan cheese
1. In a skillet heat olive oil over medium heat and saute the brussel sprouts or butternut squash until they turn light brown.
2. Pour water and steam fry them for around 5 minutes while stirring gently, till the water evaporates and vegetables turn tender but crisp (can add more water as required if the pan dries up too fast before the veggies are done).
3. Add the red pepper spice blend and butter, then stir to mix them well till combined. Sprinkle sesame seeds/ parmesan cheese (whichever is being used). Turn off the heat.
4. Serve the sauteed veggies as side dish with turkey or any other main dish of choice.
