Baked Acorn Squash
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Season all||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Basil leaves||1⁄4 Teaspoon, crumbled|
1 Wash the squash thoroughly and cut in half; remove the seeds.
2 In a shallow baking dish containing water, place the squash cut side down
3 Bake in 350°Fahrenheit oven for 45 minutes.
4 Turn the cut side up.
5 Put 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 tablespoon butter in each half.
6 Sprinkle with pepper, Season-All and basil leaves.
7 Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
8 Serve hot.
