Summer Squash En Casserole
|Crooked neck squash||2 Pound|
Wash and cut squash in 1/2" thick slices.
Lay slices in layers in greased or oiled 2 qt casserole, sprinkling each layer with some of the salt and pepper and dotting with some of the butter, until all are used.
Cover; bake in a moderately hot oven of 400°F for 1 hr., or until squash is tender.
