Squashed Pattypan Squash

Ingredients
  Pattypan squash 6 , quartered
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), smashed
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Ground black pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
Directions

In a small saucepan, place the squash, garlic, and olive oil.
Add the water and cover.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
Remove from the heat and drain off the water.
Remove the garlic and add the butter.
Smash with a fork until chunky.
Season with salt and pepper.
