Fall-Favorite Sautéed Zucchini and Yellow Summer Squash

  Squash zucchini 2 Medium, washed, dried, and cut into half inch slices (Fresh)
  Yellow summer squash 2 Medium, washed, dried, and cut into half inch slices (Fresh)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon, melted
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon

In a medium-sized skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter or margarine. Add zucchini and yellow summer squash slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sugar. Saute over low heat, until squash is translucent, but not mushy, about 7 or 8 minutes. Remove from pan to a tray covered with paper toweling to absorb any excess butter or margarine. Serve in a clear bowl to show off the contrasting green and yellow colors of the squash. This is a beautiful side dish that is healthy and super easy to make! And, it is subtly sweet and tasty!!!
