Buttered Summer Squash

Ingredients
  Yellow squash 1 1⁄2 Pound, washed and sliced
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
Directions

Place squash in medium saucepan with tight lid.
Cover with water; drain water off completely.
Add salt and onion.
Cover and cook over medium heat about 3 to 4 minutes.
Do not lift cover.
Reduce heat to lowest temperature; simmer 6 minutes.
