Mashed Butternut Squash

Mashed Butternut Squash is a mouth watering side dish recipe. I am sure this tasty and irresistible Mashed Butternut Squash dish will get you a lot of compliments!
Ingredients
  Butternut squash 1 Pound
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 50 Millilitre
Directions

1. Peel the squash and cut into slices of even thickness. Remove the seeds.
2. Place the squash slices on a rack in a pot with a tight-fitting cover, add water to cover the bottom of the pot and steam, covered, until tender, fifteen to twenty minutes.
3. Lift the squash to a bowl or drain off the water. Mash or put through a food mill. Add butter, brown sugar, salt and enough milk, if needed, to make mixture soft and fluffy. Reheat before serving.
