Fruit Stuffed Acorn Squash

Stuffed acron squash is a filled squash recipe made with a fruit and carrot stuffing. Made with a nutmeg spiced prune, carrot and date stuffing, the stuffed acorn squash is baked to tenderness and can be served with a savory and creamy sauce over it.
Ingredients
  Acorn squash 2 , halved, seeded
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon, melted
  Grated carrot 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped pitted prunes 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped dates 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Place squash, cut-side-down, in baking pan with small amount of water.
Bake in preheated 350°F oven 30 minutes.
Combine remaining ingredients.
Turn squash cut-side-up; fill with prune mixture.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until squash are tender.
