Braised Brussels Sprouts
This Braised Brussels Sprouts can be made ahead ready to serve your spouse or his friends on demand.
|Unsalted butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Chicken broth/Chicken stock||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Medium, minced|
|Brussels sprouts||2 Pint, washed and trimmed|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
Bring butter and broth to boil.
Add onion and brussels sprouts; reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes, until tender.
Toss brussels sprouts once or twice during cooking.
Season with pepper.
