Brussels Sprouts With Chestnuts
|Brussels sprouts||8 Ounce, cleaned and trimmed|
|Canned whole unsweetened chestnuts||4 Ounce|
|Butter||1 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
Cook the cleaned brussels sprouts in boiling salted water for 5-6 minutes or until cooked but still firm.
Drain the chestnuts, cut them into halves and saute in butter for 2-3 minutes.
Add the brussels sprouts to the chestnuts and continue cooking for 1 minute over low heat, shaking the pan to coat everything with the butter.
Season with pepper.
