Chicken With Bean Sprouts And Snow Pea Pods
|Chicken breast halves||4 , skinned, boned, and cut into bite-size pieces|
|White wine/Dry sherry||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Bean sprouts||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Snow pea pods||1 Cup (16 tbs), strings removed|
|Chicken broth||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cornstarch||1 Tablespoon (In 2 Tablespoons Water)|
Combine the chicken, wine, and 1/2 tea spoon salt.
Let stand about 20 minutes.
Heat oil in the wok and stirfry bean sprouts 1 minute.
Stirfry pea pods 1 to 2 minutes, until their green color intensifies.
Add the chicken and wine mixture and stirfry 3 to 4 minutes, until the chicken is done.
Return the bean sprouts and pea pods to the chicken in the wok.
Add the combined 1/2 teaspoon salt, chicken broth, and the cornstarch mixture.
Heat and stir gently until mixture thickens.
Serve at once garnished with sesame seeds.
