Marinated Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
  Brussels sprouts 2 Pound
  Red wine vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), chopped
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salad oil 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Hot sauce 1 Dash
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Cut the hard stems off the Brussels sprouts.
2 Using a knfe, make an X in the stem end.

MAKING
3 In a pan of boiling water, put the sprouts and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
4 Drain well.
5 In a bowl, add the vinegar, oil, garlic, optional sugar, salt, pepper, and hot sauce, whisk together.
6 Add in the onion and pour over the hot Brussels sprouts while still hot.
7 Allow to marinate for up to 3 or 4 days before serving.

SERVING
8 Drain well and serve.
