|Fresh brussels sprouts||1 Pound|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1 Trim off wilted outer leaves and excess stem from Brussels sprouts.
2 Wash the sprouts.
3 Cut an X in bottom of each sprout. Halve any large sprouts.
4 In a 1-quart casserole with lid, combine sprouts and water. Cover.
5 Microwave at 100% (HIGH) for 8 to 9 minutes or until tender; stir once.
6 Let stand, covered, for 2 minutes. Drain.
7 Serve as a side dish.
