Brussel Sprouts And Chestnuts
|Brussel sprouts||500 Gram (small size)|
|Canned chestnuts||250 Gram|
|Fond blanc||1 Liter (5 cups)|
|Grated cheese||50 Gram (1/2 cup)|
|Salt||1 Teaspoon (Leveled)|
|Garlic chilli mix||1 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Leveled)|
1. If using fresh chestnut then make a slit in the skin of each chestnut and soak in boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove shell and inner skin.
2. Place chestnuts in a sauce pan with Fond Blanc and cook for 30 minutes.
3. Cook the sprouts in boiling salted water until tender. Drain well.
4. Heat butter in a fry pan. Add chestnuts and brussel sprouts, garlic-chilli mix, salt, pepper and grated cheese. Toss well for few minutes. Serve hot immediately.
