Buy seeds that are specifically intended for sprouting not for planting.
Put seeds in a jar, rinse with cold water, then cover with fresh cold water.
Soak overnight in a dark place.
Pour off liquid and rinse, leaving seeds slightly moist.
Rinse two times a day for three to five days.
Store seeds in the refrigerator during this time.
Sprouts are ready to use when they are 1 to 1 1/2 inches long.
