Liver And Cheese Spread

Ingredients
  Margarine 2 Teaspoon
  Pickle relish 4 Teaspoon
  Diced onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chicken livers 8 Ounce
  Iceberg lettuce/Romaine lettuce leaves 4
  Cream cheese 6 Tablespoon
Directions

In small nonstick skillet heat margarine until bubbly and hot; add onion and saute until translucent.
Add livers and saute, stirring frequently, until browned on the outside but still pink on the inside.
Transfer liver mixture to work bowl of food processor; process until smooth.
Using a rubber scraper, scrape mixture into a medium bowl; add cream cheese and relish and stir until well combined.
Transfer mixture to sheet of wax paper and, rolling mixture in the wax paper, form into a cylinder about 6 inches long and 2 inches in diameter; refrigerate wrapped, until firm, at least 2 hours.
When ready to serve, line a serving plate with lettuce leaves; unwrap liver and serve on lettuce.
