Basil And Vegetable Cheese Spread
|Cream cheese||16 Ounce, softened (2 Package, 8 Ounce Each)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened|
|Vegetable soup mix||1 (Lipton)|
|Fresh basil leaves||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped almonds||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
1)Line 7 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" loaf pan or small bowl with wax paper.
2)Beat cream cheese and butter using a food processor, until smooth.
3)Add in the remaining ingredients and beat further till mixture is well blended.
5) Pour the mixture into the prepared pan or bowl, layer and chill for 2 hours or until firm.
SERVING 6)Unmold the chilled spread onto a serving platter and remove the wax paper.
7)The spread is best served with bagel chips, black bread, cucumber slices or assorted crackers, and fresh fruit.
