Cheese Pecan Spread
|Cheese sauce mix||1 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce|
|Bleu cheese||4 Ounce|
|Pecans||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), finely chopped|
|Finely chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Stuffed olives||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (For Garnish)|
Combine cheese sauce and milk in a small saucepan.
Heat just to boiling, stirring constantly.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add cream cheese and crumbled Bleu cheese; mix until smoothly blended.
Mix in all but 2 or 3 tablespoons of pecans, the parsley, and the Worcestershire Sauce.
With spoon and spatula, mold into a mound.
Garnish top with a gay Christmas tree fashioned with slices of stuffed olives. or mound the spread into a small bowl.
Garnish top with nuts and olives.
A help-yourself-spread good on toast rounds and a variety of crisp crackers.
