Spicy Clam Spread
|Curd cottage cheese||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Lemon juice/Lime juice||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Minced clams||8 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
In a blender, combine cottage cheese, Worcestershire, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic salt, and hot pepper seasoning; whirl until well blended and smooth.
Stir in clams and salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and refrigerate if made ahead.
Just before serving, spread mixture on Melba toast.
Place on a cooky sheet in a preheated broiler about 3 inches from heat.
Broil until mixture is bubbly and heated through (about 3 minutes).
Sprinkle parsley evenly over tops and serve at once.
