Yellow Split Pea Spread

Ingredients
  Cooked yellow split peas 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon (At Room Temperature)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Powdered ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Turmeric 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cayenne pepper 1 Dash
  Cottage cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped celery 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1⁄8 Cup (2 tbs)
Directions

In a bowl, stir together cooked split peas, butter or margarine, salt, ginger, turmeric and cayenne. Add remaining ingredients ad bled to paste.
Chill before using.
