Chickpea Artichoke Spread

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon
  Canned chickpeas 15 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Marinated artichoke hearts/Finely chopped canned artichoke hearts 1 Cup (16 tbs), drained
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Eggless mayonnaise 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Onion powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Saute onion in vegetable oil until soft.
Process chickpeas in small batches in a blender or food processor.
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator.
