Gouda Vegetable Spread
|Gouda cheese||7 Ounce (1 Round)|
|Light sour cream/Dairy sour cream||8 Ounce (1 Carton, 1 Cup)|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dijon-style mustard||1 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Shredded carrot||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped red pepper||2 Tablespoon|
|Crackers||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cut thin slice wax from top of Gouda.
Carefully scoop out cheese, leaving wax shell intact.
Chop cheese into small (about 1/4-inch) pieces.
In medium bowl stir together Light Sour Cream, garlic powder, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Stir in cheese, carrot, celery and red pepper.
Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours to blend flavors.
To serve, fill wax shell with spread; refill as necessary.
Serve with crackers.
