Cheese And Clam Spread
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Small, finely chopped|
|Red pepper/Green pepper||1⁄2 Small, finely chopped|
|Canned minced clams||8 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Pasteurized process american cheese||1 Pound, diced|
|Ketchup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground red pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. Put butter, onion and pepper into a 1 1/2-quart glass casserole. Cook uncovered in microwave oven 3 to 4 minutes at HIGH; stir after 1 minute.
2. Add drained minced clams and remaining ingredients. Mix well and cook uncovered in microwave oven 4 to 5 minutes at HIGH, or until cheese melts; stir mixture often.
