Curried Turkey Spread
|Cooked cubed turkey/Cooked cubed chicken||2 Cup (32 tbs) (1/2- To 1-Inch Cubes)|
|Apple||1 Small, peeled, cored, diced|
|Chopped chives||1 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cut in 6 to 8 pieces|
|Curry powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Crackers/Melba toast||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In food processor, combine turkey or chicken, apple and chives.
Turning machine on and off several times, cut with metal blade until finely chopped.
Add butter, curry powder, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Turn machine on and off several times until mixture is smooth.
Spoon into a small saucepan and stir over medium heat until warmed, 3 to 5 minutes.
