Gruyere Apple Spread

Ingredients
  Cream cheese 8 Ounce (1 Package)
  Shredded cheese 4 Ounce (Gruyere Cheese Or Monterey Jack, 1 Cup)
  Milk 1 Tablespoon
  Prepared mustard 2 Teaspoon
  Shredded peeled apple 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Finely chopped pecans 2 Tablespoon
  Snipped chives 2 Teaspoon
  Assorted crackers 5
Directions

In small mixer bowl combine cream cheese and gruyere or monterey jack cheese; bring to room temperature.
Add milk and prepared mustard; beat with electric mixer till blended.
Stir in apple, pecans, and chives.
Turn into serving bowl and cover; chill for 1 hour.
If desired, garnish spread with additional snipped chives.
