Gruyere Apple Spread
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Shredded cheese||4 Ounce (Gruyere Cheese Or Monterey Jack, 1 Cup)|
|Prepared mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Shredded peeled apple||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Finely chopped pecans||2 Tablespoon|
|Snipped chives||2 Teaspoon|
In small mixer bowl combine cream cheese and gruyere or monterey jack cheese; bring to room temperature.
Add milk and prepared mustard; beat with electric mixer till blended.
Stir in apple, pecans, and chives.
Turn into serving bowl and cover; chill for 1 hour.
If desired, garnish spread with additional snipped chives.
