Herbed Cheese Spread

Ingredients
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Low fat cottage cheese 8 Ounce (1 % Milk Fat)
  Parsley leaves 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Dried basil 1⁄4 Teaspoon, crumbled
  Black pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Snipped chives/Green onion tops 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
Directions

1 In a small saucepan of boiling water, cook the garlic for 1 minute. Drainoffthewaterandtransferthegarlictoa food processor or blender.
2 Add the cottage cheese, parsley, basil, pepper, and chives to the food processor or blender and whirl for 30 seconds or until smooth. Coverand refrigerate for 2 hours to letthe flavors mellow. Will keep, covered and refrigerated, for up to 10 days.
