Deluxe Spinach Bake
|Frozen spinach||20 Ounce|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Soft bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cream of mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
Prepare spinach according to package directions; drain.
Saute onion in butter in saucepan until trans- parent; stir in flour.
Combine eggs and milk; add to flour mixture, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
Fold bread crumbs and 1/2 cup cheese into cooked spinach.
Combine spinach with hot mixture; place in buttered casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Combine mushroom soup, eggs and remaining cheese in saucepan.
Serve with spinach.
