Spinach Pasties With Ready Puff Pastry

Ingredients
  Butter 1 Ounce (25 Gram)
  Cottage cheese 2 Ounce (50 Gram)
  Parmesan 1 1⁄2 Ounce, freshly grated (40 Gram)
  Garlic clove 1 Small, finely crushed
  Dried dill weed 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Freshly grated nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Lemon juice To Taste
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Egg 1 , beaten to glaze
  Puff pastry/Quick flaky pastry, by adding 6 ounce flour and 4 ounce margarine 8 Ounce (Ready Made, 225 Gram)
  Cooked spinach 8 Ounce (225 Gram)
Directions

MAKING
1) Into a saucepan, cook the spinach over a low flame till the moisture has all evaporated and keep aside
2) Into the same saucepan, beat in the butter, cheese, dill weed, nutmeg, lemon juice, pepper, garlic, and add salt generously
3) Keep aside to cool
4) Using a rolling pin, roll out the pastry thinly
5) Using a small saucepan lid cut out 6 rounds of 15 cm inches diameter
6) Use the left over scraps to attain 6 rounds
7) Heap a tablespoon of the spinach mixture on one half of the circle
8) Give the edges of the pastry an egg wash with the beaten egg and fold using the other half
9) Repeat with the remaining 5 pastry circle, to form 6 sealed semi circles pastries
10) Glaze the top of the circles with the egg
11) Place them into a greased baking sheet
12) Using a knife slit the centre of each pastry to make room for ventilation while baking
13) Bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 350°F till the pastries turn a nice golden brown

SERVING
14) Serve the patties onto a platter with some ketchup
