Pot Stickers Spinach Variation
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dried shiitake mushrooms||7⁄8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Cooked long grain rice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped canned water chestnuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Finely Chopped)|
|Minced green onions||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Peeled minced ginger||1 Tablespoon|
|Dark sesame oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Frozen chopped spinach||10 Ounce, thawed, drained, and squeezed dry (1 Package)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
Combine boiling water and mushrooms in a bowl; cover and let stand 30 minutes.
Drain; discard mushroom stems, and mince caps.
Combine mushroom caps, rice, and next 8 ingredients, and stir well.
Fill won ton wrappers with spinach mixture, preparing wrappers and cooking per previous directions.
