Gourmet Style Creamed Spinach

Ingredients
  Frozen chopped spinach 20 Ounce, thawed and well drained (Two 10 Ounce Packages)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Finely chopped green onions 2 Tablespoon
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄3 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Combine spinach, butter, and onion in a 1/2-quart glass casserole. Cover and microwave at Power Level 7 for 5 minutes, or until spinach is very hot, stirring twice.
2. Stir flour into spinach, blending until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients. Microwave, uncovered, at Power Level 10 for 4 to 5 minutes, or until mixture boils and thickens, stirring twice. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving
