Steamed Fresh Spinach
|Fresh spinach||1 Pound|
|Fresh lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon, freshly ground|
Discard stems from spinach and rinse the leaves thoroughly to remove any sand particles; drain.
Place spinach in a steamer over boiling water.
Cover and steam until leaves are tender.
Remove from steamer and turn spinach into a heated serving dish.
Sprinkle with lemon juice, salt, and pepper; toss to completely coat.
