Ginger Flavored Creamed Spinach
|Frozen chopped spinach||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated lemon peel||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. Cook spinach, drain.
2. Soften cream cheese in a 2-cup glass measuring cup in microwave oven (about 15 seconds at Medium-High). Blend with a fork until smooth. Stir in milk, lemon peel, ginger and salt. Heat uncovered to serving temperature (1 to 2 minutes at Medium-High); stir once.
3. Put drained spinach into a serving dish. Stir sauce and mix with spinach.
