Spinach Casserole Nicoise

Ingredients
  Spinach 2 Pound
  Butter   (to grease dish)
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Eggs 4
  Heavy cream 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Bread crumbs 2 Tablespoon, dried
Directions

Thoroughly wash spinach; drain.
Heat oil in large Dutch oven or saucepan.
Add garlic; cook 1 minute.
Add spinach.
Cover; steam 3 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Beat eggs and cream in small bowl until well-blended.
Stir in spinach.
Grease ovenproof dish with butter; spoon in spinach mixture.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs; dot with butter.
Place in preheated 425 °F.
Bake about 15 minutes or until lightly browned
