Anise Hardtack Candy
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|White corn syrup||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Anise oil||15 Drop|
|Red food coloring||2 Drop|
1) In a saucepan, add sugar, syrup, and 1/4 cup water.
2) Boil till hard-cracks, and for a second longer.
3) Mix in the oil of anise and food coloring.
4) Pour into a greased pan and cool.
5) Turn upside down on a waxed paper.
6) Break into pieces.
7) Store in containers.
