|Soft butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sifted flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped pecan/Finely chopped walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs) (chopped finely)|
|Icing sugar/Castor sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Crush the cornflakes into crumbs.
Blend the butter, sugar and vanilla.
Sift flour with the cinnamon.
Add the crushed crumbs and pecan nuts to the butter mixture and mix well, as well as the flour mixture.
Shape into small balls and place on greased baking sheets.
Bake at 350° F for about half- an-hour.
Remove when baked, and roll immediately in icing, or castor sugar.
