|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1 Dash|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Vegetable shortening||2 Tablespoon, melted (or oil)|
Combine dry ingredients; add remaining ingredients and stir only until blended.
Place about 1 tablespoon batter into well-greased 1 1/2 inch muffin pans.
Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
