Saffron Beef

I made this Saffron Beef recipe last night and I really liked it. I made this Saffron Beef again today. My entire family has become a fan of it!
  Round steak 2 1⁄3 Pound, cut into cubes
  Onions 1 1⁄2 Pound, sliced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), chopped
  Monosodium glutamate/Accent 1 Teaspoon
  Green pepper 1 , chopped
  Tomatoes 1 Pound, peeled and chopped
  Thyme/1/4 teaspoon dry thyme 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Saffron 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Canned tomato puree 8 Ounce (1 Can)
  California cabernet/Other dry red wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

In a skillet, saute garlic in butter lightly.
Add onions, and saute them until wilted.
Pour mixture into the crock cooker along with the remaining ingredients.
Stir, cover, and cook at Low 7 to 9 hours.
