I made this Saffron Beef recipe last night and I really liked it. I made this Saffron Beef again today. My entire family has become a fan of it!
|Round steak||2 1⁄3 Pound, cut into cubes|
|Onions||1 1⁄2 Pound, sliced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), chopped|
|Monosodium glutamate/Accent||1 Teaspoon|
|Green pepper||1 , chopped|
|Tomatoes||1 Pound, peeled and chopped|
|Thyme/1/4 teaspoon dry thyme||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Canned tomato puree||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|California cabernet/Other dry red wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In a skillet, saute garlic in butter lightly.
Add onions, and saute them until wilted.
Pour mixture into the crock cooker along with the remaining ingredients.
Stir, cover, and cook at Low 7 to 9 hours.
