|Catsup||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Bottled barbecue sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Smoke Flavored)|
|Light corn syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Have butcher crack ribs in half lengthwise to form long strips.
Simmer strips, covered in boiling salted water, in a kettle 1 hour or just until tender; drain.
When ready to grill, thread strips accordian style onto long skewers.
Mix catsup, barbecue sauce and corn syrup in small saucepan; brush part of sauce over ribs.
Place on grill about 6 inches above hot coals.
Grill, turning and brushing often, with remaining sauce for 20 minutes or until richly glazed.
