Sweet 'N Pungent Spareribs
|Pork spareribs||4 1⁄2 Pound|
|Canned crushed pineapple||8 Ounce|
|Vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Molasses||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chili sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Ground ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Red pepper sauce||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
Place pork, meaty sides up, on rack in shallow roasting pan.
Roast uncovered in 325Â° oven 1 1/2 hours.
Mix remaining ingredients.
Brush pork with pineapple mixture.
Roast, turning and brushing frequendy with pineapple mixture until pork is done, about 45 minutes.
(About half of the pineapple mixture will be used to brush ribs.) Heat remaining pineapple mixture to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Serve with pork.
