Skillet Spareribs

Ingredients
  Pork ribs 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut in serving pieces
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Green pepper 1 Small, chopped
  Celery stalks 3 , chopped
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), chopped
  Rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper To Taste
  Red pepper To Taste
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped green onion tops 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Turn electric skillet control to 350 degrees.
Season ribs; brown, covered, in skillet.
Remove ribs; pour off excess drippings, reserving 3 tablespoons in skillet.
Add onion, green pepper, celery and garlic to drippings; simmer until transparent, stirring frequently.
Add rice, salt, peppers and 11/4 cups water; stir well.
Top mixture with ribs; cover.
Reduce heat to 300 degrees.
Cook for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
Add parsley and green onion tops; cook for 5 minutes.
