Ingredients
  Beef round 1 Pound, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes
  Fat 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Ham 1⁄4 Pound, chopped
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Tomatoes 2 , chopped
  Green peppers 2 , chopped
  Spanish sausages 2 , cut in 1 inch pieces
  Cabbage 1⁄2 Small, shredded
  Carrots 3 , scraped and cut in 1-inch pieces
  Potatoes 1 Pound, quartered
  Green beans 1⁄2 Pound, cut in 1 inch pieces
  Canned chickpeas 1 Pound (Drained)
Directions

Brown beef on all sides in fat in deep kettle.
Add salt, pepper, water, ham, onion, garlic, tomatoes, and green peppers; bring to a boil.
Cover.
Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour; add remaining ingredients.
Cook for 30 minutes, or until meat and vegetables are tender.
