Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Confectioners sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Finely chopped pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Confectioners sugar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Cream butter with vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
Add sugar, creaming well.
Mix in flour and salt, then pecans.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls and flatten slightly.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350°F 25 to 30 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Remove from cookie sheets and cool slightly.
Roll in confectioners' sugar.
