Dandy Citrus Spring Sangria

Always greet your guests with a beverage, it makes for a great way to ease into the family festivities and gets everyone in the mood for celebrating. Offering a cocktail punch makes hosting stress free and is a great way to allow guests to help themselves when they need a refresh. Every Easter we make a citrus sangria infused with Meyer Lemons and Clementines adding fresh seasonal Meyer Lemons make a this a zesty sangria that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Sweet white wine 1 Bottle (1 l) ((like Moscato))
Soda water 1/2 Bottle (0.5 l) (Optional)
Meyer lemon 2 ((thinly sliced fresh, then frozen))
Clementines 3 ((thinly sliced fresh, then frozen))
Apricot juice 3 Ounce
Frozen peaches 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. The night before, thinly slice the Dandy Meyer Lemons and Citrines Clementines, and then lay them flat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper before placing them in the freezer.

MAKING

2. In a tall pitcher, place the frozen Dandy Meyer Lemons, Citrines Clementines, and peaches from the freezer.

3. Pour in the bottle of sweet white wine, the soda water (for optional fizz) and the apricot juice, and then stir the contents before serving.

SERVING

4. Serve as desired.
