Metaxa Sangria

This is a perfect sangria recipe for any time of the year. Use whatever fruit is in season to create infinite variations.
  Metaxa brandy 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Agave nectar 3 Tablespoon
  Orange 1 Small, thinly sliced
  Lemon 1 Small, thinly sliced
  Watermelon 3 Cup (48 tbs), diced (or other seasonal fruit)
  Red wine 750 Milliliter

1. In a pitcher, combine all ingredients and stir around with a spoon, crushing some of the melon.
2. Refrigerate to let the flavors marry for at least 2 hours before serving or overnight.

3. Serve over ice, garnished with watermelon wedges or slices of citrus.
