Latin Style Pork Loin in the Slow Cooker

This recipe is ultra easy but it delivers amazing flavor. All you have to do is place all your ingredients in the slow cooker and 6 to 7 hours later enjoy a marvelous meal.
Ingredients
  Pork loin 3 Pound
  Salt 1 Teaspoon (to taste)
  Pepper 1 Teaspoon (to taste)
  Garlic powder 1 Teaspoon
  Cumin 1 Teaspoon
  Dried thyme 1 Teaspoon
  White onion 1 Medium, sliced
  Bell pepper 1 Medium, sliced
  Cilantro sprigs 1 Bunch (100 gm)
  Salsa 15 Ounce (1 bottle)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Rinse the pork and pat dry it. Season both sides with salt, pepper, cumin, garlic and thyme.

MAKING
2. In slow cooker place pork. Add the onion, bell pepper, cilantro and salsa.
3. Fill the empty salsa jar half way with water. Add to the pot.
4. Cook pork on low for 6 to 7 hours. Discard the cilantro stems.

SERVING
5. In a serving plate, serve the pork loin with any choice of side.

TIPS
If you have left overs use them to make shredded pork tacos with fresh avocado salsa.
