Spanish Peanut Cookies

Ingredients
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Softened butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Vanilla 2 Teaspoon
  All-purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salted spanish peanuts 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Heat oven to 350°.

MAKING
2) In a large bowl add brown sugar, butter, and shortening and mix well.
3) Beat for 1 to 2 minutes at medium speed till creamy. Scrape the bowl regularly.
4) Add the eggs and vanilla and continue beating and scraping the bowl.
5) Lower intensity of beating.
6) Gradually beat in adding the flour and baking soda, till well mixed.
7) Stir in the peanuts by hand.
8) Onto cookie sheets, drop the mix by tablespoonfuls, arranging them 2 inches apart from each other.
9) Place in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, till the edges of the cookies turn light golden brown.
