Spanish Brown Rice and Meat
|Chopped lean beef||1 Pound (hamburger, heart, lung mixture)|
|Onions||2 Large, chopped|
|Green pepper||1 Large, chopped|
|Celery stalks||3 , chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Brown rice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||1 Pint (2 cups)|
|Sea salt||To Taste|
1.In a pan heat oil.
2.Add meat and vegetables in it and cook until brown.
3.Add water and rice and let the ingredients simmer for half an hour.
4.Add tomatoes along with sea salt and pepper and cook for 30 more minutes until the rice is cooked.
