Coca De Sardinas
|Canned sardines||1 Pound (1 Can Or 2 Cups)|
|Onions||3⁄4 Pound, peeled and sliced|
|Olive oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Parsley sprigs||5 , chopped|
|Canned pimientos||4 Ounce (1/2 Cup Or 1 Can)|
|Tomato sauce||6 Tablespoon|
Remove any bones from the sardines.
Brown onions slowly in the olive oil for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Chop the pimientos and add with their liquid.
Add tomato sauce, salt, and sardines.
Stir well and bring to a boil.
Turn filling into baked pastry shell.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (375° F.) for 10 minutes.
